I learned something today

Post by brm4450 » Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:59 pm

I was daydreaming and wishing, thumbing through Gunbroker and found a Henry Big Boy Silver, not surprising, but it was chambered in .416 Remington Mag which did surprise me.

.
I think it probably an error. The description line says .44 Mag which is likely correct.
Manufacturer: Henry Repeating Arms
Description: HENRY BIG BOY SILVER .44 MAG/SPL 20" OCTAGON BARREL
CALIBER: .416 REMINGTON MAGNUM
TYPE ACTION: LEVER

I should have read closer, you’re right, my mistake. I guess I did learn something today, read the whole thing. This is a .416 Remington Mag round

That is big round, especially since BBS is supposed to hold 10 of them

Welcome to the club, pardner. I've made a mistake or two in my time. Actually I've lost count, LOL

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.
