Hammer Spring

I have installed Palo Verde Gunworks Hammer springs on two of my Marlins that work reliably in both but I couldn't find any info about using them with Henry BB. I have read about using reduced hammer springs that are designed for Marlins with varying results as far as reliability. I contacted Richard at PVG and he didn't have any data on it either.
I took a chance and bought one to try on my BB. The kit comes with a straight round spring with various inserts and washers to adjust the spring tension by altering the length of the spring. I loaded up 25 .357 cases with CCI magnum pistol primers and started adding inserts and until 8 out of 8 went bang. When I range tested with 60 rnds of loaded ammo with hand loads (CCI magnum pisol primers) and 2 different brands of factory ammo with 100% success. I ended up using 2 of the thicker inserts with one washer.
The nice thing about this system is that it is easy to tailor your hammer spring to a level that works for you. What I was looking for was reduced trigger pull and that is what I got. My trigger pull went from a little over 4lbs to 3.25lbs.
