Hi everyone so quick question is it ok to leave the cloth your Henry rifle comes with from the factory with cover while in your safe ?

I would certainly think it is safe. It is breathable micro fiber.
Besides that, I'm sure many of their rifles wear them for long periods of time before they are shipped or at the LGS in the box.

I've got a couple of them laying in a drawer somewhere. It won't hurt but don't really see the need unless your safe is a bit crowded and don't want to scratch it. I always seem to bang around the stocks when taking mine out of the safe rather than the barrel or receiver.

Keep all mine in rifle socks to help keep the dings and scratches down.

If you leave it off and never polish it you will get a nice dull patina....:)

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

It certainly won’t hurt, I have rifle socks on every rifle I own. And cut one down to fit my mare’s leg. Used the extra to make pistol socks for two handguns.
