Oh yeah got it and a real joy to hold and shoot! I have to do my thing on the rear sight, work on my speed loading tube project and of course clean up the .357 Mag brass I shot yesterday. I have a limited supply of that and might pick up a bag or two at Cabelas.

I have a question on the bolts used on the .357 and .44 Mag carbine. My 44 has a shiny polished bolt where the new .357 BB has a black coated one.
Would the material be the same and is that black coating a low friction type? Did Henry make it black to go along with the CCH color?

Forty, can't help ya on that one.
As I just went and looked at mine,
my BBB 44 has a black bolt, made in '07
and the BBS 41 first yr. production couple years ago has a nice shinny silver one.

I think all the bolts are black now Forty. I sent my BBB 357 back earlier this year and it come back with a black one. Not sure on the material part.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Wonder why my older one has the black and the newer one shinny?
Al, does your 41 have the shinny one also?
