Did you perchance try any other ammo before deciding it was the gun?

Welcome You will find the folks here are friendly and genuinely interested in what you have to say.
I hope the folks at Henry can solve your problem in time for hunting. I have a BBB in .45 Colt and found, after quite a bit of frustration, that it didn't like the Leverevolution rounds I fed it. Maybe your gun will like different ammo also.

No, I only tried the Hornady. I figured since it is designed for this type of gun and it had great reviews that it should be fine. I can see a group not being as tight with one brand over another but to have them tumble? I don't get it. Obviously, it's too late since Henry has it. But like I said they've had it for 4 weeks and are still looking at it.

I was told that the engineer made some more adjustments yesterday and was taking it back to the range today. Hopefully, they'll have it finished soon.

LeverEvolution ammo is not good ammo to determine the performance of any gun.

I have never used it (as I reload) but have, for nearly all the years it has been available, read and heard reports of marginal to poor performance in all the calibers it is made in. More so in fact than good reports and many after switching to traditional ammo reported good performance.

LeverEvolution was designed to create the illusion it would equate the performance of a spire point bullet in a cartridge that is typically round or flat nose due to a tube feed but it does not seem to measure up for a lot of guns.

Remember the .22 'Accelerator' ammo?

I've been toying with the idea of loading my own rounds for years but haven't made that leap yet. It's just one more thing for my wife to get on me about spending more money on my hobbies lol. I appreciate the feedback though.

Just tell her it will save money to reload. Then one talk about how much such and such a round cost to make over the cost of buying it off the shelf.
Never mention the hundreds of dollars + in supplies stached away.

I tested some of the Leverevolution ammo in my AW 45-70 and had good and very accurate results with it at 50 yards.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
