Long ranger 308 not grouping

Hello all, just wandering what round everybody shooting good groups with, tried 165 grain federal fusion not very good there.will be used Primarily for deer and hogs

Don't have the 308 yet. Try some other ammo first. Let us know. The 308 single shot is my next Henry.

first, welcome to our forum, happy to have you join us .... any chance you may be loading your own ammo .. 
.. we do not have a 308 Long Ranger, we do have a 308 BLR which is the rifle the Long Ranger is patterned after .... we have found that 150 gr Nosler Ballistic Tips for practice and Accubond bullets for hunting to be extremely effective .... please take a look at our How Many ? thread (link below) and add your Henry rifle(s) to our community's total

Welcome to the forum but you did not start with a lot of information other than ' not very good there' - do you have any targets to post, group sizes? range distance and any other factors?
Kinda need a bit more to go on to start with !

Welcome to the forum and glad you joined us. I know some of these guys have some 308's Im sure we can help you change that.

Yea didn't really give much info lol, been a busy day. Distance is 100yds waiting 5-10 minutes between shots, I don't have any pics but the best group was about 3 inches. I went to Bass pro this evening and picked up Hornady 165 sst and 165 sierra game kings because that's about all they had left. Thanks to everyone,a lot of very knowledgeable people here I've been around reading from this forum for a long time

3 inches at 100 yards with iron sights is not bad.

Oh sorry still not enough info lol. I got a Swarovski 2-10x42. It's a sweeettt setup!!!
