Also...I can't guarantee that to be 100% accurate.

But it fits.

The following load data comes from the book "Reloading for Handgunners" by Patrick Sweeney.... note the loads using the 265 grain bullets and Lil Gun.

I'm pretty sure that load could be easily duplicated with 4100 though...

The box shows 1350 fps, I reweighed the powder 17.8.
The bullet is very similar to the one I cast with the exception of the gas check.
Thanks for the info.

Underwood tested the velocity of their 41 ammo in a 6.5 inch Ruger...I asked them about that a while back.

Powder as slow as Lil Gun is needs a gas check on lead...4100, being a little faster burning, will likely behave better with plain base lead.

Edited to add: They may have said 7.5 inch Ruger...I can't find the email to verify, but it was either a 6.5 or 7.5 inch Blackhawk for sure.

Well a 6.5" BH is my other 41.
I guess I will keep an eye open for some.
I noticed yesterday that I'm on the last lb of H 110.

You guys might want to do a search on the use of LilGun in revolvers. It burns very hot. Lots of talk about forcing cone erosion along with other issues I have some but dont use it much and wont use it in my FA

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......
