With the apparent popularity of the brass side loader one would think a steel model wouldn't be far behind.

One can only hope at this point. Regular blued steel would be great, CCH would be even better.
With the holidays coming, it would seem that, if HRA doesn't announce it within the next 30-60 days, it may not happen until next year (if then).
The ancillary question centers on calibers, but that's probably a whole other thread...

My rifles get hunted...so I am willing to wait on a steel or CCH.
I love the look of the brass, but worry about the shine in the woods.
