Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: New Henry
Welcome! I bought my Henry BB steel.45 Colt thru Bud's. Hassle free and prompt. Mine also has the 20" barrel. You're going to love that rifle. So easy to shoot. Will you handload for it? Anyways, enjoy!

Re: New Henry
Yes, i will be reloading and casting bullets for it. I'm hoping to find a load that will work in both my Ruger Bisley and th Henry..

Re: New Henry
Shouldn't be hard at all to accomplish. I'd concentrate on getting the Henry to shoot first since that Ruger won't be too particular.

Re: New Henry
The biggest hurdle to jump will be getting an accurate chamber slug. Will the innerds be strong enough to get an accurate pound slug? I have a few diff. molds to try. A .452" 250ish gr. swc; a .454" 270 gr. swc; a Lee 310 gr. rfn; and a..454" 350ish gr. rfn. Powder will be h110 and red dot/promo. May end up getting a Williams 1/16th" brass bead front sight and a Skinner peep for the rear.
