Tough decisions

Post by JayZuv » Sun May 05, 2019 8:32 am

Okay, so I love the looks of the new side gate. I also love the practicality of the loading system, and the 35 rem cartridge. But, I also love my two big boys. Do I trade one in on a new Henry? Or do I just add a 3rd one to the collection.

I find it very difficult to part with a firearm that I really like .... for me the choice would be to add a 3rd

I'd wait a year or so. See if they do the same to other models, or if there are any problems with this.

If it is what you want, go for it! But, I suspect you will probably take a loss on a trade. So, I would probably add an additional one. Yet, I think I would prefer steel.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I’d wait awhile and see if there are any issues and to see if they offer in other cartridges as well.

It’s not the instant gratification you might be looking for now but it may be the better course in the long run.

Also I’ve never come out ahead by getting rid of something else I like.
