I think the weight difference 'feel' is negligible. Just hefting the two I have they are both a bit heavy (7 lbs vs 8.7).

Yeah I'm about to bust if I dont order soon. What about sights? I have Skinners on two rifles, an Express on 1895CB and dovetail mount on Winchester 74 and love them both. With the short barrel will the factory sight work well or is the sight radius too short for peeps?

We have a Skinner Express/Lyman Globe setup on our Henry BBB 44M Carbine - works great.

You beat me to it. I absolutely love my .357 CCH Henry! Very nice looking and shoots like a dream. I have the 20” barrel but I’m thinking I might get the CCH big loop for it.
