I have a 44 mag Ruger that has no mate. But Ive just never had a desire for the 44 mag in a levergun. I do like the Ubertis because they do a great job with the CCH. Might need one someday in a 357 to go with my recently acquired 357 CCH carbine.
How about a 44 Mag Single Shot?

Funny you should mention that. The thought has crossed my mind and I have seen a couple of the brass models in 44 mag and I knida like them. They have a straight stock that Im not opposed to having. I like the looks of them. Just sayin

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

The only thing that makes me wonder about the brass model is the lack of a butt-pad. May not make any difference with the 44 Mag, but I've never shot one, so I don't know. I know that my Brass 45 Colt doesn't have one and it's no big deal. But I'm guessing the 44Mag has a bit more bite!

Nothing. Just something to rib BigAl over. He's a good sport about it and gives as well as he takes. And now it appears we got him maybe coming along, thinking he needs to get a Uberti .357 to go with his recent .357 Henry. :D
