.
Now remember there is a new adhoc rule that says ya gotta have a revolver in a caliber matching your Henry. I'm thinking a Uberti .45 Colt would pair up real nice with that Henry .45. I'm sure all the other Henry/Uberti folks here agree
........ Yes?

I was under the impression that pink kitchen and bath towels went out of vogue a long time ago and those once in service now relegated/retired to the rag bag.
Nope. Pink is "in" again, whether new or in a "recycling phase." There is no right or wrong.

You could just REALLY give in and maybe go buy yourself a Uberti revolver and see how much fun it is and how well it pairs with your Henry 357(s).

Definitely. I guess the closest Ruger comes to what Uberti does is the Vaquero line? Might still be apples/oranges, as I'm not that familiar with the SAA Rugers.
To my eye, the Ubertis are a bit more true to the "replica" idea, but to some that might be a negative.
They're all good!

As far as single action revolvers, you can't beat Ruger for strength and reliability. I've had a 45C Ruger Blackhawk (4 5/8") with the 45ACP cyl since the mid 70's. I used to shoot Handgun Silhouette with a Ruger Super Blackhawk (44Mag) 7 1/2" bbl in 80's. Still have both of them...if you are looking for a 45C revolver, go with the Ruger vice Uberti. You won't be sorry. BobG in VA

IIRC, the early Ruger Vaquero 45C was rated for Ruger 45 Colt +p (30K psi) loads. The newer examples are not (but they have more origional Vaquero style points
). So 14K psi is the limit. If the cylinder is not as big/thick as the BlackHawk, keep the pressure on the low side.

I have one Uberti 12 shot 22 and the rest of my matching pairs are with Rugers. 3 of those pairs are the convertibles 357/9mm 45colt/45acp 22/22mag. I have a 44 mag Ruger that has no mate. But Ive just never had a desire for the 44 mag in a levergun. I do like the Ubertis because they do a great job with the CCH. Might need one someday in a 357 to go with my recently acquired 357 CCH carbine.
