Nice job. So, I take it that you did not receive a replacement forearm?

That is really a sharp-looking mod you did on your Henry....good job.
I have a suggestion about the photo you posted. I noticed you don't have an avatar set up yet. At least for a starter, I think your "modern" Henry would look great for that use.

Modern Take on a Henry.jpg
Thanks for that. I looked and didn’t see an option for resizing on the forum. If I missed it, please let me know. I’ll make sure to use the 4:3 from now on.

At the risk of hurting some feelings I’ve got to disagree. Reminds me of a guy at the range a few years back that put his Henry in a tactical style chassis, did not look good.

its often said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder .... as one who has historically personalized (AKA modified) many things I've purchased, I have no problem with doing so .... with lever actions there is a community out there who wouldn't dream of mounting a scope on one .... there is another community of folks who have a strong preference for mounting them .... I've seen many mods that I wouldn't use that other folks really like .... I appreciate folks for posting comments and pictures .... doing so stimulates thinking and conversation

Everyone has their own style. Like I said, I would never do this to one of the classic designs. Thanks for being honest, and my feelings aren’t hurt at all.
