A Henry .44 Carbine for Christmas!
A new Henry lever rifle owner here... Picked this one up for Christmas to go along with my Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag and makes for a great combo. The rifle really impressed me with fit finish and definitely the way it shoots and handles!
Only mod I made was to remove the rear sight insert, flip it around and mill a .136 wide "U" shaped notch...something like a semi ghost ring.
This really helped me sight that front bead and get on target faster.
I posted up a video review in the Range Report forum.
Best of all it LOVES the Hy-Tek coated 240 gr. Missouri Bullets I load for the Ruger!!

Nice Christmas present.
I didn't find anything like that under my tree.
Congrats, you must have been a good guy this past year.
And me not so much.
