Congratulations on your new Henry! I have the rifle version of that gun in .357 and love it! Even with the iron sights it’s extremely accurate.

I’m hoping to get better corrective glasses soon because i’d Like to go back to the iron sights - hopefully.

I wonder if you and I are the only ones who do that. ;)

That sentence could be taken the wrong way! I’ve been there though! Got to have the M1 Carbine out for war movies, and one of the levers out for dusters...

It’s ok Mags. Your among friends here. Fess up!

Pilsner: I find my BBS to be incredibly accurate with the Skinner peep I mounted on the receiver. If you get your eyeballs sorted out, you should be good to ditch the optic.

So yesterday I went the range with a box of .38 and some .357. I fired 40 rounds of 130gr .38 and some .357 from the carbine. It cycled every time sure and smooth. Just amazing. For fun I fired a load of .38s, then picked up my SP 101 and did the same. Not much recoil from either. Then I fired a load of .357 in the Henry, picked up and fired same from the pistol, wow, with the Henry it was just a bit more of a nudge, with the pistol eee-ha you really know you just let loose a Magnum round. Definitely makes the gong swing. Lots of fun, the carbine is just a blast and toggling between it and a pistol multiplies the grin X2!

Very cool! These 357's are very accurate. Just bought my first Henry a BBS 357 rifle with 20in. barrel. I didn't have to adjust the sights at all. At 50 yrs. It's almost dead on. Enjoy and congrats on your new Henry. These are great rifles.
