Elmer...final sight in for opener
Elmer...final sight in for opener
Well firearm deer season opens Saturday in TN so got my 41 mag BBSC out for final tuning. Loads were mine using Nosler 210g hp, Hornady 210 xtp, and Speer 210 Deep Curl...it shoots them all extremely well and to the same point of impact for all intents and purposes..especially for deer hunting. The Deep Curls edged out the other two loads so that one will be in the breech Saturday am, God willing. Here is a picture of Elmer and the final 3 shot group at 104 yards using Deep Curls....a real shooter!

Best to you and Elmer. You both look absolutely ready to harvest a TN deer!

That’s some mighty fine shooting TNman! Love the caliber. I used to shoot it in a Dan Wesson revolver that I gifted to a very close friend (former Marine Vietnam veteran) who has since passed. I hope you have the best of luck on your hunt!

Nice. What make is that sight? Fits well.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Thanks to the well wishers..will not have any rifle alibis for sure. The sight is a Vortex Venom 3moa red dot on a shortened Marlin 336 base.
