BiPod for a Long Ranger

Post by ihatechicago » Tue Oct 02, 2018 7:47 pm

Has anyone found a quality bipod that will fit on a Long Ranger? Caldwells don't fit for squat! The sling mount is too close to the end for there to be enough contact surface. And I know a bipod wasn't in the engineers head when they designed this style of rifle. But an old shaky guy like me needs some stability! Lol.

Me shaky too. I use a Vanguard Porta-Aim for range shooting. In the field I use a tree, fence post, tree branch or anything else conveniently stable to lean or prop against.
