Yes I sent mine back. They replaced the bolt and "polished" the chamber. It works much better but will still lock up after firing 5 rounds. It appears to be a heat related issue.

I'm no gunsmith, let alone a metallurgist, but what's interesting is that my first hard "lock-up" (couldn't move the lever at all without some help) occured after the FIRST shot of the day (i.e.-starting out with a room temperature barrel). I can't and won't comment any further until I get a chance to range test the fix. I sure hope it works out, because this is one beautiful rifle.

That's exactly what mine did when I first got it. It locked up on the very first round I fired. I would also suggest you put some good oil on the bolt. Mine was pretty dry from the factory. Oiling it made it much smoother and easier to cycle.

A dry lube might be better long term. Oil will catch dust and turn gummy over time. Gummy makes the action stiff. Remington Drylube is one brand, there are others.
