Well, actually, it was meant to be funny, but ok. Thanks for your valuable input though!

Ok! Some things don’t come across the webz all that well... maybe use a” “ or something to show you’re kidding? It’s all good, I was just in a mood when I read your post. We all seem to be very level headed folk here, so I should have guessed you were joking, but you never know, right?

I finally figured out what was going on with this. My drop down thingy showed me the upload option today for the first time. Previously all I saw was the external link or gravitar options. I’m guessing my jackrabbit might stick around now.

I haven’t had any chances to shoot the Big Boy again, but will be heading out to look for black tail deer (they are a coastal version of mule deer, but a separate sub species) on Wednesday and Thursday. If I don’t see a buck, I’ll at least do a bit of target shooting.

Sitting around the campfire last night at white tail camp evolved into an ad hoc target shooting session as my friends 7 year old got a new .22 and compound bow. Out came the toys (all this was done safely and before the liquor was really flowing) and buddy brings out his CCH .44 mag Chiappa. It’s a decent rifle, but no Henry, that’s for sure. I set up the coke cans, shoot n sees and the patented Henry22 potato target stand. Buddy and I get into a potato shootout and he misses every shot (10) with the .44 and buckhorn sights. I’m up next with the BBS .357 and Skinners. Of seven nugget potatoes I hit 5 in a row, Miss #6 and then get #6 and 7 with one shot! I was absolutely amazed! I’m in serious love with this Carbine now! I was shooting the American Eagle 158 grn sjsp ammo. I think I’ll stick with that stuff as my gun seems to like it best.
