sometimes things work out, this is my original 1st henry, 357 brass carbine, when i got into cowboy action i did some trading to my lgs for my vaqueros, she went to his safe, he liked her as well. anyway i stopped in today so see if they showed any cch carbines available and still none, and he commented that he would sell her back to me at what he gave me so she came home.
im sure we have all sold or traded one we regretted, i just got lucky and got a do over

Beautiful gun, bmsma. I can see why guys get attached to those brass guns.
A similar story, I gave a Marlin .22 to my niece's boyfriend around 2009. After a few years they broke up and my niece gave it back last year.
Very strange feeling to see it again.

Nice rifle, great story.
I'm sure there are many of us who wish this had happened to us (in one form or another) in the past! That's a great LGS!
Thanks for sharing.

and thanks all, and yes my LGS is great but are friends as well, they actually are a mil surplus that handles a few firearms in the case, they have ordered everything for me. but we are outside a college town and most of their firearm sales are tactical stuff.
