henry 44mag BBS ejecting or failing to eject 44specials

I took my Henry 44mag BBS to the range today. When firing 44mags the brass ejects nicely after firing. However when shooting 44specials the brass fails to eject quite often after firing. Both the 44mags and 44specials are 200grn hardcast bullets. Any suggestions on what is wrong?
