Point being, I'd be surprised if a shot presented itself that was more than 75 yards, which, to the points made above (and elsewhere), makes the BBS .357 just about ideal.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! Looks like we'll be scouting the acreage over Labor Day weekend. Let's just hope a deer shows up in November!
