I used some of that ammo in my all weather and it shot very well. I however wont reuse the brass as I dont want to spend time keeping it separate from the full length brass that I already have. Just another FYI. Al

Nice setup. I'll be adding a 45-70 to my safe one day hopefully soon.

My eye is on the Henry single shot 45-70 as I don't see ripping through a ton of rounds! Also, keeping the brass from hitting the ground at the range.

Good thinking! I figure I’ll just tip the rifle on its side before I rack another round and just catch it with my teeth ;-)

That is gorgeous.
The 30-30 sports white tail in place of the moose and bear.
Out of the special edition finishes, I like this one best.
