I load 6.0 unique for most paper shooting and 8.0 unique plucking in both 44-40 and 45 colt in rifle and pistol .

It's not an issue of comfort, but velocity.

The cowboy crowd has to keep their handgun loads under 1000 fps; rifle under 1400.

By the time I get my 94 hot enough to seal the chamber, I'm over the limit.

Been doing the SASS and CBA stuff for over 20 years and I like the 750 fps in all my loads . Very accurate and NO recoil .
