That is a very nice looking rifle and I hope it's successful. But at a $1000+ it's way out of my price range. Too bad, I would like to have one, after I get the .357 steel of course.

Army Scout, I believe the street price will be closer to $800 than $1000

We're still a couple months off on this one folks! It's on the site, but probably won't be shipping until June-July-ish. We'll absolutely be talking it up a lot more as we get closer to the shipping date.

I prefer the pistol grip .... the angle of the grip seems to be a better/more comfortable fit for my hand and (fully realizing its probably all in my head) the pistol grip seems to lessen felt recoil

I can understand that. Most of my bolt rifles have the pistol grip. I have an 03A4 with a straight stock and I can sure feel it.
