Very Pleased with Feeding/Cycling of Henry .38/.357
I have flawlessly and reapeatedly cycled several rounds from 1.40” COL to 1.62 COL. Research prior to buying a lever rifle led me to believe this wasn’t possible. All I can say is great job HRA!

with our Henry rifles, if I do my part, they do theirs .... if I get lazy with the lever or short stroke it, most of the time the rifles cover for me but a few times they haven't .... all in all, they perform really well

They are exceptional feeders. I've put miles on a lot of lever rifles. Some, I have had to go to a lot of effort to make them feed reliably. I have not had an issue with a Henry. Perhaps this is where the lack of the "Kings improvement" pays off.

No issues with my big boy steel - I short stroked it on a few rounds on her maiden outing at the range, and like JEBar says - the rifle made me look better than I am. SO stoked on my big boy steel.

Shootintheciders, that’s very interesting because I posted here how my rifle won’t cycle my reloads at 1.64 but it will cycle the SWC and it just so happens that those are 1.62. Maybe that’s the normal length for all the big boy steels. At least we know they consistent with their manufacturing.
