Just a quick update, per UPS the rifle arrived at Henry last Wednesday. I called on Friday, the lady said 7-10 business days for them to get to it.
They must be getting a lot of returns for repair. When I sent one of my rifles in, it was on it's way back 3 days after they received it. I hope they get to yours sooner than their standard quote.

My rifle just arrived back. Broken firing pin. I’m gonna call and ask for a spare, not sure why it’s a “restricted “ part .

Maybe ask for a spare bolt assembly as well. That firing pin broke for some reason not explained.

Just called, a whole lot of nope! The lady said they used to send out firing pins but management says it’s restricted. I said let them know a customer is not happy, she laughed. She said they even yelled at them lol. I said tell them to fire the lawyers and please your customers. I asked if there was a bad batch of firing pins, she said they don’t tell them anything, maybe it was “ processed “ too long whatever that means, maybe her way of saying yes without getting in trouble. Test firing tomorrow. If you don’t hear from me all is well… thanks for the support here! Might trade in a Marlin but I’ve set this up they way I need it, lop cut, optics and light.

Maybe that would have been a good question.
How about just send me a new bolt. ;)
Glad you finally got it back, hope it performs to your satisfaction.

When I sent it in I asked for a full bolt, they said it needed to be head spaced. Not sure if that’s valid for a rimmed revolver cartridge but it’s moot, the answer was no.

I call bs on that one, now if we talking changing a barrel, then yes.
Not the bolt
I've pulled the bolt out of one my 35 Remington Marlin's once and put in the other one.
It went bang just fine. And they were made like 15 yrs. apart.

Glad they got you up and running. Ive said this before I think there is to many Henrys going back for repair. Seems as though quality control isnt what it should be.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I wonder if Henry gets the firing pins from another vendor?
