Well I’ve had trouble with Glock, Keltec, MSAR, S&W and now with my first Henry. My only frustration with Henry is they won’t ship a simple part, makes no sense. I get the legal concerns so maybe there’s some variance in parts and they have to version them, diff pins for the same gun that needs close attention due to tolerance. Probably not easy to determine outside of factory. I’m guessing giving benefit of the doubt they have a good reputation.

Put about 30-40 rounds through it today, not a hitch.
I did chrono underwood.357 120gr penetrators, 2040fps average
And buffalo bore 180 gr hardcast at about 1929fps average.
Got home checked screws, several were loose, snapped one on the front hand guard with not a lot of force. Just gonna drop some locktite on it and call it a day.

what was your impression of how it shot ...how close were the impact points for the various loads you fired

The range was pretty busy so I only shot at 7 yds to test and chrono.
I did rezero the delta point pro RDS it was off a bit after removing and reinstalling. At that distance they all hit
pretty close but the 120gr seemed to shoot a bit higher than the 180gr Buffalo bore. I fired a bunch of 38 and other .357 too
all about same but I’ll get back and check zero at 25 and 50 yards.

Rifle still running good since returning. I swapped out the delta point pro, I used it because I had it but as a pistol red dot I found it had 6” or more of parallax at 25 yds. I bought the at3 tactical on Amazon for $99 and initial impressions are very good. Time will tell on durability and I have equivalent aimpoint rds on other rifles this seems as good. Zeroed for 180 gr .357 underwood and buffalo bore. Very close poi .
