Pistol grip Henry 30 30

Post by 357Mag » Thu Feb 09, 2023 4:23 pm

Would anyone else like for Henry to offer a Pistol grip stock on their Steel and Color case 30 30 's ?

You can get a pistol grip stock on 45-70 models and even a x model .30 30 I believe. I suggest it every year in the suggestion box...if you're interested as well please do the same !

I have 5 30-30's there straight stocked and a pair with the PG ones.
I don't see .10 cents worth of difference in shooting them.
As far as looks goes I prefer the straight stock.
If, I wanted/needed another  I'd be waiting on a new Marlin.
From what I've seen of them from the shot show videos they are gorgeous.
Oh, and they are pistol gripped. ;)

I like shooting with a pistol grip as it seems to give me better trigger control but I like the looks of a straight stock.

Haven't thought about it before, but looking at the lever rifles side by side I like the pistol grip a little better.

What a memory I seem to have. I had to go look at mine. Three straight stocks, one with PG[39A] and one lever/falling block[Ruger No.1], PG.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Well...if we're counting all the levers.
14, straight stocked
6, pistol gripped.

Yeah Randy, that's kinda what I thought with the No.1, so, I just included it.

😆 I saw that, and added my little Stevens singe shot with the finger lever.
