Big Boy Trigger Job

Post by Steve » Tue Aug 30, 2016 3:29 pm

Anybody with some experience out there that would give me the pros and cons of a trigger job on a Big Boy?

Wow this is the first I've heard of someone considering trigger work on their Big Boy. Although I'm sure there is room for improvement, I certainly find mine to be adequate. I'm interested to hear if any of the forum members here have experience with this.

If my Henry trigger was any better I would think my old sniper rifle was back in hand and I'm not sure it was better.

Both of mine have a little creep in them. It's not bad but I'm use to touch and go.

The only time my trigger has a creep in it is when I'm shooting it.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

I guess me and you are the only one's here that has set behind a good trigger.

Just what I was thinking. This Big Boy will make an awesome plinking/target rifle at about 1-1/2 to 2 pounds trigger pull.

I'm not sure what's wrong with mine, but every time I pull the trigger there's this big bang sound...
