Quest fulfilled: H010 in hand

After spending too much time researching the interweb for a 45-70, I finally scored one today. Absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, all my 45-70 ammo is at home in Wyoming, and I am in Arizona for another month, and the store where I bought the gun didn’t have any big 45 caliber boolits, so I probably won’t get to shoot it for a while, but at least I have it.
The gun was priced under retail, so that was very refreshing during these times of price gouging. All in all, a very good day!

Might come that way in a couple years dunno yet. Trying to find something down there is a tough choice. I have Grandparents buried in Tucson and I am famliar with that area.

Congratulation on 45-70 I recently score a H009G 30-30 and now looking for a 45LC but the ammo and reloading supplies are harder to find then the firearms.Good luck finding some ammo for yours.
