New 45-70 X
Re: New 45-70 X
Ernie you can used the small rifle primers in small pistol. The only way they may not work is if you have a tuned. Pistol with a lighter spring. But you could load a few and test them in your 357

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: New 45-70 X
I would not use rifle primers in a revolver. They are thicker than pistol primers and could either rub or drag on the recoil shield. When the first round in the cylinder is fired the rest of them could cause trouble. In a single shot handgun no problem. In a semi auto the slide slamming closed could be a concern.

Re: New 45-70 X
Ordered my BB CCH 357 the day the new side gates were announced. Been weeks not months. August huh.....sorry for your long delay, now I feel kinda foolish for being impatient.
