Thanks Al, I watched the video and now I understand how to do a baseball stitch as mentioned by Retiredguns. I’ll be getting a few of these in the future.

'guns, I'm really liking that Henry! Nice, simple lever wrap you put on also. Nice touch. Also the older Colt is just, well, awesome! Nice collection you have going.

Very nice rifle. UPS dropped of my 357 carbine with side gate last night. I was keeping busy all day trying to make the time pass. It is beautiful. I will shoot it today.

I took my Dad on a road trip yesterday so he could trade a rifle for a shotgun with someone he knows. Driving through the country I started thinking about moving to some property where I can shoot when I want. My Wife said, "You want to spend a couple hundred grand so you can shoot your $799 rifle?" Yep.

If it is a house to her liken, it could probably be anywhere, even on a 20-40 acre lot. I am thinking about doing something similar.Retiredguns wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 3:50 pmI took my Dad on a road trip yesterday so he could trade a rifle for a shotgun with someone he knows. Doesn't have to be a large acreage either. 6 to 15 in the RIGHT location with a dirt/sand berm will work fine. Find a place in a rural/farm district surrounded with woods and few homes around if you can.

Just something on my wish list, go big or stay home.
