357 is scarce and so are brass and bullets. I have some to try mine when it shows up but need to get set up to reload.

I bought the first 327BB I laid eyes on. Turned out it was a rifle.
To my eyes the carbine "looked " better. So I had a touch of buyers remorse,,,, and it gnawed at me .
So when I found a 327BB carbine it came home , YAY.
But when I but them side by side I was pretty humbled at how small a difference it made ,,,as in not enough to fret about.
Visually the carbine "looks" substantially smaller I think due to the larger loop lever ,,,,,maybe.
So to me now the answer is get the one you can lay hands on , the difference is not worth debating over.
In these times of low , hard to find inventory a bird in the hand an all that.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Carbine case hardened sidegate in 357. Go with SGC and BBS in 41.

Now Ernie....when you get it you will have to dismantle the receiver so we can get a good look at the difference between gate and no gate parts! :D
