That particular day I had been shooting offhand, 75 yds on the gong.

Vaquero...that is one sweet loo!ing stainless steel rif!e. Could be a good mate for a Ruger GP100 or a Ruger Blackhawk in stainless.

Thank you sir.
Do you think a Colt King Cobra & a Vaquero will work?

Sweet pair you got there. Looks like that triumvirate could handle just about any problem that could develop on the homestead.

Thank you, sir.
Resizing the pic. to help fit the format, makes it it look scrunched up.

I was looking yesterday at the Marlin Firearms website.

There is a Stainless .357 in the works in their SBL Series.

I better start saving money now and maybe this time next year IF they are available I'll see about picking one up.

Website says Availability Spring 2024 Well Spring is just about over........

Last week at a well stocked gun store I handled multiple lever action rifles in different configurations. Henry, Rossi, Chiappa, Marlin, Winchester The Henry X was interesting. The Rossi was nice and lite. 45-70's are a lot of gun--more than I need or want. I was there to pick up a revolver I had ordered in, so all my gun money is gone for the year. Best selection of long arms I've seen in a store in a long time. I'll be going to back to look and handle, saving money as time passes, buy when ready.
