Nice looking firearm! Thanks for the review! I liked how you highlighted its niche.

I’ll read your review later when I have more time but I just wanted to chime in on what a great looking rifle you have.

The rifle looks great. I read thru your review. In no way am I being critical of your review. But I just wonder why people snub the 38-55 and why the need for this caliber in the first place as 38-55 is quite capable of taking any deer or elk for that matter in North America.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Al, it was designed for those stupid states and don't allow regular rifle calibers for deer hunting.
Then came up with the idea of a short straight wall case. No longer than 1.8"
Which is completely Stupid, this cartridge is suppose to be 200 fps faster than the 35 Rem., with the same bullet.
So how is it safer?
Just more governmental BS.

Guess I didnt know there was a case limit also. But he still mentions 30-30 and 35 Remington. no mention of the above caliber in 38-55. Its another case to me anyway of Rodney Dangerfield. 41 mag and 38-55. cant get no respect

Read your review this morning and thanks for doing it. I have to say whoever named the cartridge did well. Buckhammer is exactly what it should do.
