I have a Henry steel in 357. Just wondering if anyone shoots 38 Special in these. Do they cycle ok?

I have shot 38 special in mine but don’t do it to much. Mine cycles them just fine

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

.38 specials function fine in mine but I rarely shoot them as my sights are set for hot .357 magnums at 50 yds.

Same as Al and Steve. .38's cycle fine thru my Henry. Like shooting a .22!

Have not even run any 38's thru mine. I have heard though, that on rare occasions you can get a jam while cycling
I believe the shorter length is the problem.
The rifle was designed mostly with the 357 in mind.

I just bought a 357 steel and could only find 38s (Blazer brass 125 JHP). I had 2 hang ups in the 1st 10 rounds. I realized I was the problem......the next 90 rounds cycled perfectly.
