Tool sale attempt

Post by Ernie » Sun Oct 11, 2020 9:30 am

Had a tool sale yesterday trying to sell off the multiples of tools that are clogging up my workshop. Had a sign on the busy road next to my property last week and put notice on the local yard sale website and had very low prices on everything but only saw 6 people. Sold some things but still have welders, generators, band saws ..........that I guess I will have to sell individually. Weather was great but response was disappointing. Trying to get clear space in my shop to do some work this winter and to simply get rid of all the stuff I accumulated but do not use. Will keep trying as being able to walk through the shop was quite enjoyable before having to drag stuff back in. :D

That’s unusual, wonder if folks are Covid shy? Normally a sale that contains the word tool is a hit, not to mention a “tool sale”. Better luck next time.

Have 2 stick welders and a small gasless wire welder for sale. Keeping my Hobart mig/tig wire welder, you might check those out, pretty sweet.

My sister sent this to me. Kind of hits the nail on the head.

I have an old Lincoln Buzz Box that takes care of my welding .... could always use another generator and would love to have a band saw .. a sale like yours would sure draw a crowd around here

I am trying to not fill in the holes created in my shop by selling extra tools. It is difficult.

Do you have a listing anywhere? It would be interesting to see what you have for sale.

Don't have much left. Couple generators and a couple of welders. I was just selling off things that I had 2 or 3 of.
