The Atrium

It’s warm enough to leave the doors to the atrium open during the day. It’s nice to be able to leave a door open and not worry about intruders.

Little Girl loves it and thinks it’s the real world. I call it her Plato’s Cave. She has her own small door to the left of the one chair.

My indoor cat lives in Plato's Cave, too; she loves to chase darting reflections of sunlight that suddenly appear on the walls and ceilings or pounce on shadows of trees that move in the room. A few people I've known think most other people live in that cave, too. ;)
