Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Thank you.

Good idea. Not too late for a target board...

Have a suggestion, RR. Rather than target board, if you do set up a place to shoot from here, go for an AR500 steel target...or more than one. It's a lot of fun clanging & swinging this type of target rather than punching holes in paper (paper is okay to do, of course).

For your viewing pleasure, here is a short DIY video on how to build a stand to hang a steel target. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=ho ... ORM=VIREHT
Two outdoor ranges I go to have set ups similar to this. However, this one looks easier to build, and also is quite inexpensive after the purchase of your target.

BTW, there was no indication in the video info what firearm/ammo the guy would be using to demo his target. Just so happens he was shooting 1-oz slugs from a shotgun, which is most fun to shoot. I did that for a few years and enjoyed sending every slug down range! :D Anyway, an idea for your consideration.

Good for you, RR. We have an elevated deck on our place and it sees a lot of use. It's a great place to relax and breathe in fresh air. Enjoy.

There won't be any shooting at home. We have a road nearby, so not legal.

Yes we are looking forward to new deck!

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.
