Supposed to set a record hi on Friday....might hit 98F here. Moving cows on weekend, supposed to drop to 70's.

Put a coat of penetrating oil for pressure treated wood on the front and side deck tonight. It is just a clear coat and will dry lighter. Makes the grain pop though.

Your deck wood has some very knotty character in it. What kind of wood is it?

Knot sure...ok sorry about that couldn't help myself.

It is brown pressure treated wood instead of the usual green stuff. No idea what they make it out of.

There may have been a tag stapled to the end of the wood plank that 'wood' say. Any of the tags survive the build? Cut ends laying around with the tag still on them?
