Turn of the Century Houses

Post by Sir Henry » Thu Jan 18, 2024 10:38 pm

I had a dentist appointment in Wausau and got there two hours early. I took the long way and drove through Medford to get there. Since I had time to kill I drove around some of the neighborhoods.

I found this nice home in Medford. I suspect it’s relatively new as it’s in beautiful condition.

Then I drove through Wausau and finally found the rich part of town. These two houses are in a Catholic neighborhood. Just a few blocks away the houses got even grander. Some were what you might call a mansion and were twice as big with several acre lawns and gardens.

I wish I had stopped and taken more pictures. Now that I know where they are I’ll return with my camera. These pictures were taken with my cell phone.

I like the first one the best. Looks like it could be a "This Old House" renovation. Beautiful!
