Gene, I think you'd make a great cheesehead.
I don’t have to be a Packer fan do I? My mom was a packer and we had a rivalry going ever since the Seahawks started in 1976.
We aren't football fans at all, but we don't advertise it. A neighbor friend of ours is a diehard Bears fan, though, since he is originally from Chicago and he does advertise it. He's a lot bigger than me, though. :)

I love football and had Seahawk season tickets for years. I’ve boycotted the NFL for three years because of politics.

Are wells a problem in Wisconsin like in Montana? I’m talking to an agent and he is confused why I’m so concerned. What about septic tanks? I’m running into properties that have them pumped on a regular schedule. Some don’t even have drain fields and are just holding tanks.

Most wells in our neighborhood are fairly shallow and easy to dig. Ours just happens to be very deep. Water in Wisconsin is not an issue, nothing at all like out West. As for septic, all the homes in our neighborhood have them and we are required to to have them pumped on a regular basis. Again, no big deal. There are plenty of folks in the septic pumping business, so never a long wait to get service.

Gene,
On a side note, if you plan a trip to Wisconsin, try to check out " The House on the Rock " in Spring Green Wi. Very unique tourist attraction!

Door County is also a beautiful area.

I like the log home with 165 acres. Although it doesnt have a big out building that you want. The one above you just linked is a different looking home for sure ^^^^^

Thanks. Not knowing an area makes it a lot harder. It’s good to have friends in the area that can tell me stuff like this.
