Rifle tree?

Post by markiver54 » Thu Jan 24, 2019 9:56 pm

Once again...maybe too much time on my hands, however, using scrap wood in my small wood shop, I threw this together. Definitely not fine woodwork, but not what I intended at the time. When cleaning more than one long gun, or or shooting at my cabin range, often I look for a safe place to put my rifles when I switch to another. This, cost me about $10.00. Took me two afternoons and I think it will come in handy in either situation. For what it cost me and a fun few hours, I think it will serve me well.

[Edit]Just so that folks don't think I'm weirder than I already portray; In getting the picture posting thing redone, several of the 'fun' posts also went away. Those that remain like this one have lost context of what went on before. -Mags.
In the meantime get some solace from your pink towel

pictures 20190124_212114.jpg and 20190124_211713.jpg were correctly uploaded to form software .... in fact 20190124_212114.jpg was uploaded twice .... the other pictures were not loaded to the forum software .... to straighten it out, I'd recommend deleting the post and doing it over

Yeah, patience is a good practice when dealing with anything in the computer realm. We've all had our share of sweet software snafus, haven't we? Actually, I consider most of my cyberspace life to be wandering in a black hole. ;)

It's great that we have some helpful techie Folk on the forum. Thanks to all you computer gurus! :D

Oh, yes. Mark, that is really a cool-looking rifle tree. Fits the need, and the cost of a "few fun hours" was well worth it.

I realize that .... as noted, my suggestion is it be deleted ... if he wishes I will take care of it .... as it is, his post breaks no forum standards so I will not delete it without the author OK'ing it

Fine with me Jim...don't know what went wrong. I'm just disappointed that a harmless post did not go through. In the meantime, will try to post a pic of my beloved granddaughter...

NOTE : post related to the picture error deleted .... you can most certainly repost them .... I'd suggest with a note explaining what happened so that folks who are just reading the thread will understand .... by the way, thought that while I was at it, I'd straighten up the picture of your beautiful granddaughter ... :D
