Walking Hiking Stick

Post by Handloader » Mon Jan 01, 2024 5:24 pm

I do a lot of hiking and one day the dawn broke I need a hiking stick. I formed the stick to a taper and a finial top. I then wrapped in black and tan leather and stitched it in place with a baseball stich. I also embossed it with dolphins.

I do like the walking stick. Since I use a cane often, I made a couple, without a lathe. I used spoke shaves. Interesting... and quiet in the shop.
