That is really a beautiful deer you're drawing, Ozarkwoodswalker. I think the evaluation of my drawing skills (from many years ago) still stands. I simply cannot draw a straight line crooked. And that isn't a joke!
You reminded me of a thread I posted in September showing a deer painting my daughter gave me last year. I noticed you joined the HRF on November 1st, so maybe you've never seen that story. Here it is; hope you might enjoy it.

Very much looking forward to seeing your deer drawing when completed. Do you plan to frame it, and have a special wall spot picked out? If I could create something that nice-looking, I sure would have it displayed in a prominent location. Thanks for your post.

The horns are(or will be when I finish drawing them) from a photo of a buck my son's boy shot last year during youth season when my son took him hunting . So most likely when I finish I will get it framed and give it to them.
