I always wanted to own an engraved 1911. I wanted my wings, the Marine Corps Emblem, my Staff Sergeant Chevrons, and dates of service engraved on the gun, and then modest embellishments as the engraver saw fit. I had a nice Commander set to go, and a terrible auto accident put the engraver out of commission for an extended period. I just never got back with him after his year of recovery as he was so backed up. I didn't look for anyone else. I love the look of quality engraving done in moderation.

by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
