O scale trains

Post by Sir Henry » Wed May 17, 2023 11:52 am

I left my train collection in Seattle so I’m starting again. I don’t run them on a tract and just display them. I do need some track for displaying.

They aren’t really displayed proper. That will come later. I do like how these were aged.

I have a few vintage antennas coming and some metal mountain sculptures which will tie everything together.

Love O scale trains, due to space parameters I have HO scale tracks and town. I am currently trying to create space so I can set up my O scale trains and town. Those cars you have are great.

I may go HO also because they are half the size. From my viewing distance O is better. Upstairs where the viewing distance is less is where I would go HO.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Nice collection Gene. Or should that be start of the collection? I expect to see it grow.

I built a display case for my daughter as a Christmas gift for her husband’s collection. She sent me a link to some that he was looking at online in HO scale. And checked with him on the scale. Confirmed that he said they were HO scale. Turns out his train set is actually O scale. :o
So now he can either start collecting HO or shot glasses.
P.S. He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I bought another flat car today and have bids on 8 more. That H in HO means half 0! Maybe I’ll start collecting shot glasses too.

:D The detail in those cars is amazing. I just learned what HO means. Learn something new everyday!

I only brought one diesel locomotive with me and I can’t find it. Steam is an entirely different animal.
