It may be a bit of a stretch .....

to consider a riding mower a vehicle .. .. but this thread seemed to fit in this area ....earlier today I got a look at one heck of a lawn mower .... it is a Grasshopper FrontMount 932 Series .... http://www.tnteq.com/assets/Uploads/pdf ... tmount.pdf .... very quick in covering large areas .... it took 4 hrs to cut an area that requires over 10 hours to mow with our John Deere tractor and its 5' mower deck .... it has a really good, solid sound to its Kubota 32 hp 3-cyl water cooled engine

It looks like a great mower. 32 hp Kubota is a lot of engine. I'll bet it moves along pretty fast.

the mower belongs to our oldest son .... a while back he purchased a 26+ acre track of land on which they are currently building a home .... he actually mows 20 +/- acres the first picture below shows a portion of the field (I don't have a camera with a wide angle lens) where he was mowing in the earlier pictures .... with our tractor it takes about 8 hours to mow that field, the first time he used his new mower it took just over 4 hours .... the second field is where he is in the process of setting up a firing range .... the other pictures show the opening into that field (off of the big field) and a picture taken from that opening to the back of what he calls the teardrop field ..... depending on how he sets it up, shots out to 140 yards will be possible .... we have family that has come in from out of state to see the new baby and there will be a bunch of firing going on out there this afternoon

if they didn't require 24/7/365 care, I suspect he would put some cattle or horses on the place .... he does plan to do something agricultural with it, the tax advantages of having it reclassified from residential to agricultural would be significant

That will be nice. Shooting range in the back yard. Dont get no better than that. Ive always wished I could get something like that for myself. But it would have draw backs. I wouldnt get anything else done.
